This boat sat at the end of a dirt lot in a small marina on an inlet of Scituate Harbor. I took the reference photo for this on a warm, bright Spring day that almost felt like summer. I was attracted to this scene because of the tall white mast slicing against the deep blue sky.
Original Painting
The original painting is 16″ x 20″ milk paint on panel. I donated the piece to an auction to raise money for the preservation of historic buildings in Portland, Maine. Even though the original painting has been SOLD, prints are available at my online print store.
